        I’m already here Jay.

Am I looking forward to it?

No, but I’m young and I need the money.

        1. Not interested in England’s International tournaments any more but will watch anyway. The media are to blame there.

        2. I have us down, Topping the group, Going on to beat Italy in the quarters, Losing to Germany in the semi’s and the Germany beating Spain in the final. (the way the groups pan out)

        1) I’m looking forward to it in so much as its 3 weeks of footbal to keep us ticking over until pre-season starts
        2) i was cautiously optimistic that Hodgson would do a relatively decent job as he seems to ge the best out of teams when little is expected of them. However his squad selection has been completely uninspiring & when you here Lampard has picked up an injury so he’s called Jordan Henderson up as stand-by that says it all really

I’m loking forward to it from the point of view that there’ll be football on the box every night of the week till the friendlies starts.

Not really looking forward to watching England. In my opinion we’ll finish bottom of the group with Sweden, who we can’t beat in major competition, as they play the English game better than us. Ukraine are the hosts and the hosts always get further than they normally would and France are head and shoulders above anybody else in the group.

Last time I looked, England were the same price not to qualify from the group as win it at 13/8. The bet for me though is to finish bottom at 6/1.( Locker ;) )

I’m still trying to come to terms with the fact that Jack Butland is the fourth best English keeper and then they say Henderson could be joining the squad !!

Still , if it stops the media banging on about us winning the thing then it may be a good thing. There seems to be very little expectation this time round so lets just see.

Went to watch the England Under-19s last night and last Friday.

To be honest there doesn’t appear to be a great deal of talent coming through. They’ll make professional careers, but not top-class Premier League or international on what I saw.

However many years ago watched the Under 17s – and Wayne Rooney was on the bench!

Im afraid the England team dont hold the same place anymore in the pecking order.Since the birth of the League of greed and the Champions or second third and fourth place league the national team comes a poor 3rd.There isnt the same Kudos about internationals like there was.I always got really excited when the tournaments came around but this time Im not that bothered. You cant really blame people for becoming dissillusioned when FIFA are run by the anti English duo of Blatter and Platini.UEFA are no better allowing a big tournament to be staged in countries who have massive race issues.Money dictates all matters in the game and imho the national side has suffered most.I dont expect much from England this time hope im wrong.

Listening to Garry Neville on SSN today, I think he was trying to put it mildly where England are in the pecking order in European and World football.
He said that the England players during his time, went into tournaments thinking they were billy big-balls, but were nowhere near the standard of players from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Holland etc.
Love him or hate him as a player, he is a bloody good analyst and will make a cracking manager in the future.
Giving him a role in the current England set up is the best decision made by the FA in yonks. goodpost
