A combined wage costing the club whos in admin 75k a month.
Rather convenient both injured while the windows open.
Players fault ?, certainly not but neither is it the fault of the club.
Would be nice if they agreed to move on scrap their contracts and find a new club or drop in wages.

Massey was got on a free on a 2 year deal he the renegotiated a further 2 years at the time we were financially sound.

I highly doubt anyone is on 12k. They will all have had relegation clauses which is why nost of them did one.

You can’t just go around getting rid of people? Yet they can just get shut of kids that have sweat blood for the club, make your mind up!

Fortunately (or unfortunately in this case), adult footballers are exempt from employment laws whereby employees can have their employment terminated without compensation if they have worked for less than 2 years. Similarly, they are not permitted to give a period of notice to leave before their contract ends.
So, you are stuck with said two on whatever they are earning, just as you are protected when you sign a diamond who is earning relative peanuts on a long term deal.
