Back to back FA Cup quarter final hammerings in the early TV slot.
8 March 2014 at 6:41 pm #128257I think the word “CAPITULATE” was invented for Roberto Martinez’s teams.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!8 March 2014 at 6:47 pm #128258Capitulate? Roberto Martinez?
Under him, Wigan are the most unlikely Cup Winners!

Yes capitulate did you not watch the game?, Everton were actually in the game until the last 10 mins then they did indeed capitulate.

What a journey!8 March 2014 at 7:22 pm #128263I think the word “CAPITULATE” was invented for Roberto Martinez’s teams.I watched the Cup Final too. The Wigan team – under Roberto – didn’t capitulate.
Arsenal certainly came off better today. But were Everton any worse than Arsenal when they lost 5-1 away to Liverpool or 0-2 at home to Bayern Munich?
8 March 2014 at 7:24 pm #128264Although the goals were not the keepers fault, Robels looked a bit dodgy to me.
James McCarthy was a bit of a passenger in midfield and made Gareth Barry look like a world beater.
Ross Barkley certainly looks a good prospect for them.8 March 2014 at 7:29 pm #128269I honestly think you are either pig thick, or taking the pish. I didn’t mention the FA piggin cup, I just said Everton who Roberto Martinez is the current manger, capitulated against Arsenal today. I also said other teams under Martinez had also capitulated. He seems to be a past master of keeping his teams in games until the last quarter, then opening the shop for everyone to plunder.

What a journey!8 March 2014 at 7:37 pm #128271Sorry jr, but you didn’t just say that Everton capitulated against Arsenal today.
I think the word “CAPITULATE” was invented for Roberto Martinez’s teams.Clearly this didn’t apply to Roberto Martinez’s Wigan in the FA Cup last season.
I don’t want to fall out with you. You’re the only one who gives me information on Wigan’s formations, for which I am very grateful.

I think a REAL WAFC fan would have worded that sentence :-
“Clearly this didn’t apply to US in the FA Cup last season”
You wrote your sentence like an Everton fan would have, are you a scouser ?

jr said Roberto Martinez’s teams, so I said Roberto Martinez’s Wigan.
Besides, we’ve had this discussion before, and failed to reach a clear conclusion. Are we going to go over it all again?
8 March 2014 at 9:52 pm #128282Would a REAL WAFC fan start a thread titled Everton?
Are you a Scouser?
8 March 2014 at 10:04 pm #128283Would a REAL WAFC fan start a thread titled Everton?I would say that given the game was live on TV and WE (WAFC) had no game and everton have suffered the same fate 2 years on the trot at this stage of the FA cup, live on TV.
I think any WAFC fan would have had a legitimate right to bring it up, just as I started a thread ‘Results Today’ which contained just a smiley face(which somehow caused the chips in the CL server to do a strange thing) the reasoning behind that post was to say results have gone OUR way today. Now can I ask you to explain why you spend so much time defending everton, and again are you a scouser?
8 March 2014 at 10:16 pm #128284Now can I ask you to explain why you devote so much time to watching the progress of Everton under our old manager Martinez?
Have you become an Everton fan?

8 March 2014 at 10:34 pm #128287We can disagree but we don’t have to sink to personal abuse.
