About time we got something.
(Sorry if that comes across as ungrateful)

28 February 2013 at 4:01 am #104132Can’t argue at those prices I don’t think
28 February 2013 at 11:45 am #104140You can be pretty sure that plenty will!

Can’t argue at those prices I don’t thinkI can , just paid £74.50 for 3 , Its a cup game for christ sake , surely £20 Adults £10 or even £5 kids would have been right.
What would we have charged them at home ?, thieving scouse gits.
28 February 2013 at 1:29 pm #104143Yes it’s a cup match. A quarter final of the FA Cup with a trip to Wembley if we win. We would have charged a little less, but they know they will sell out all their tickets so why should they knock them out at any less? It’s a bigger than normal FA Cup game for us, so you can expect to pay a bigger than normal price. God help you if we do get to Wembley and you see the prices they charge.

Seem to remember my Everton at home ticket costing £30. That’ll also be what the scouse contingent paid too. I was really annoyed about how expensive it was (so much for £15 a game, no league games are that cheap anymore), but in fairness, it was a really good game and worth every penny. Makes a change.
28 February 2013 at 3:35 pm #104157All the play-offs are held at Wembley, including the Conference National Play Off – last year it was York v Luton.
Whilst the Championship Play Off is likely to sell out – with restricted sale of tickets – you can usually get tickets for the other three.
As you go down the leagues, prices go down too, so the play offs can offer you a chance to see Wembley at a sensible price. Book in advance and you can get a cheap train fare too.
Would I buy a ticket for the Cup Final? I expect so – given the opportunity. But I could manage without a programme and I wouldn’t buy any drinks or burgers inside the ground.
28 February 2013 at 3:39 pm #104158Away fans at Wigan pay £20 for a league match. That’s one reason why so many come. Another reason is that they usually go home with something too.

Cat B is £25 and Cat A is £30. If i’m wrong and they do only pay £20, whilst Wiganers at the opposite end of the ground are being asked to stump up £30, I’d be very surprised and less than refined!

What would an Everton fan pay at Wigan for 2 adults 1 child ? £45 ?
It’s a toilet of a ground with poles everywere,

28 February 2013 at 6:51 pm #104169ill save 35 quid for the pub thank you ;)
28 February 2013 at 7:11 pm #104170£27 to see my team play in a quarter final in a local derby against a club as big as Everton seems reasonable in my opinion.
Yes, the ground is horrible and yes, the tickets are dearer than at Macclesfield and Huddersfield but 90 mins away from Wembley @ £27 for season ticket holders is hardly a rip off.
