Is anyone else struggling to get excited for wembley i was buzzing for the semi but it feels a bit of an anticlimax.. if we win the next 2 games my mood might change #wembley
The most exciting part of the cup run so far was winning at Everton…that was an awesome performance. Watched in bar in Portugal…no other Latics there…
Semi final..that was a slight anti c…we expected to win although not counting the chickens…then back into London on t’underground keeping head down
The Prem has taken over in recent times, but most footy fans of any club their lifelong wish is to see their team play in FA cup final. Our dream comes true on 11th May
There has not been a new winner of the cup for 25 years…
First Latics game I went to (call me a JCL if u want..) was 1/2/03 against Cheltenham (0-0)…went back to work on Mon and told the boss (who just happened to be a City fan) that I’d seen a club that would go all the way to the PL. I wasn’t wrong then..and I’m damned sure I won’t be wrong now…we will lift that cup on 11th.
Like I’ve said earlier, I couldn’t sleep that night we drew Millwall..I knew then it was on.
Saying this from the heart, it gets me going thinking about our next trip to Wembley. Loads of neutrals think we’ll do it…

Having seen the effort that Wigan town is going to, so far & a few of the pics getting people to BELIEVE I am both excited & Proud of Wigan Athletic & the little town I was born.
None of the games can come quick enough for me at the moment – and although the Cup Final will be huge fun, I just want to fast forward to the last game of the season and hope we’re still in the running to survive.
I wouldn’t go that far, Its still a shit hole full of dole filled smack rats and as far as i can see nothing has changed in the last two weeks. Its still the same.

Bubble-burster alert! ;)
At least it’s now a blue shit-hole, rather than a cherry and white shit-hole

I agree Yosser.
The town where I was born is a crime ridden, litter strewn blot on the landscape, full of decaying industry and unemployment.
Oh hang on a minute. Are you on about Wigan? I was born in Kitwe, Zambia.
Getting to Wembley for the semifinals was exciting.
Winning in the semifinal was a wonderful weekend.
Playing in the final seems a much more serious event. And any celebrations will be curtailed by the game at Arsenal. Still, I’m up for a modest celebration.
I definitely celebrated the Everton result more than the Millwall result.
Probably a combination of expectations and beating Everton meant we were at Wembley. If the Semi was at Villa Park (Like it should have been) then perhaps I would have felt different.
About the Final, my excitement does seem limited. Perhaps its because we have two huge games before it, and maybe on Wednesday I will be massively up for the Final
