What a great first half performance that was today, best all season by a long way. morsy made a big difference and him and macdonald clicked and were terrific all game. Forrest just couldn’t cope with our intensity.
Let’s hope this is the start of good things to come in 2017…
7 January 2017 at 10:30 pm #153854I liked the way Warnock overlapped with Yanic today on the left. The first goal was a sublime bit of football.

8 January 2017 at 1:03 pm #153870What a shame there was only 3500 Latics die hards there to see it. Embarrassing that so called fans can’t put their hand in their pocket for a tenner.

8 January 2017 at 2:09 pm #153872It’s a personal choice if you go or not and some fans have other commitments. Many other reasons for not going but I guess many who weren’t there will not be there in the future for league games if we continue the decline.
Personally I have other commitments at other times of year but like the ones who were there yesterday wouldn’t miss going if Latics had a match.8 January 2017 at 4:43 pm #153873It’s a personal choice if you go or not and some fans have other commitments. 8 January 2017 at 6:03 pm #153874Wasn’t just Latics guys only 7000 at Hull for 2 Prem teams.
8 January 2017 at 7:08 pm #153875Do you think there would only have been 3,500 home fans on if we had got Liverpool, Man Ure or Chelsea at home?
Fuck the EFL
8 January 2017 at 7:40 pm #153876If we had The Hubcappers or Man Utd there would be more than 3500 but would still struggle to get 10,000 home fans in and probably wouldn’t get 10,000 home fans in if it was over a tenner.
8 January 2017 at 8:00 pm #153877A lot of our FA cup home games have poor crowds, Wigan public don’t seem to back their team
I always prefer away games it does away with this .

Yep
9 January 2017 at 11:39 am #153879Did all the missing Latics fans have other commitments ? all 3000-4000 of them, it was a Saturday at home a normal footballing day.
The club want to think about at least giving season ticket holders 1 cup game free like the old days with the tear out voucher in the paper book season tickets9 January 2017 at 11:46 am #153880The club made it a tenner a go. And now it seems it should be free. The attendance wasn’t the fault of the club. It’s the fault of the tight as cramp Wigan public.
9 January 2017 at 11:52 am #153881Funny how ‘other commitments’ appear when we are at home in the cup.Like Bullit says the plastics woulld be out in droves if it were Citeh,Man Yoo or the scousers.
If you didn’t go,fine but spare us the bullshit…. eh.
