Obviously everyone thought the same about winning the Cup in 2013 more than staying in the premier greed league but what would we all think now if it’s a choice of league 1 again and missing out on promotion or getting too and winning the final, I know it’s imperative for the club to go up this time but I fancy another European tour.
On this occasion, promotion
Promotion in itself would be winning something whether we go up 1st or 2nd. Back in 2013 staying up wasn’t winning anything (except the big fat TV pay cheque) other than being able to claim that we weren’t one of the 3 worst sides in the division.
Mind you back then I said it didn’t need to be an either or decision & I still say that. So I’ll go with the same this time too!! :woohoo:
We,ve had our day in the sun and reminded the world that this brilliant club is still very much alive and kicking but now its back to reality. Promotion all day long. Broadcasting companies do not want riff raff like ourselves and the Dale upsetting the apple cart knocking out the big clubs. Probably the greatest performance in the clubs history and the media turn us into the new Millwall. Let the fookers shove it and lets get further under their skins by getting a step nearer to their treasured Premier League.
Love a good cup run, but got to be promotion for me this time grumps..
If we don’t go up then we’ll lose most if not all of our best players. Not mentioning the financial implications.That said, a trip to Wembley in the semi’s would be great.
Would be nice to be 2 times winners of the cup.
However promotion or league 1 title adds another honour to our ever growing list of honours & that was our main aim this season. So it has to be promotion.
I personally wouldnt mind a wembley semi final & have booked leave in work just in case. Should we get to the final, i’m off anyway.
Now winning the cup as a third tier club would just swing it for me.Yep, that would do it for me too.
Winning the cup as a league one side is what dreams are made of, and I do like to dream so it’s the cup for me.
Winning FA Cup as a League 1 club without a doubt. If we miss promotion this year we’ll piss League 1 next season with all the money the new owners invest
And both of our seasons have been enjoyable in League 1. It can be negative enough on this Board at the best of times so imagine what it would be like next season if we’re struggling in the Championship, – Cook can’t cut it, Grigg not championship level, Powell a big time charlies yawn yawn
