10 April 2013 at 11:05 pm #108636According to mail online, we haven’t sold 10,000 yet.YYYYYAAAWWWWWWNNNN
Also give them what for in the comments box…
10 April 2013 at 11:05 pm #108637I couldn’t give a flying what the media anybody else is saying. The simple facts are that
a) The semi should not be at Wembley
b) Ridiculous K.O time, considering the transport problems
c) Cost, considering theres’s every chance of returning, average folk just can’t afford two trips. I will only be able to afford one trip, which i hope is he final fingers crossed.
d) Wembley is on Millbrawl’s doorstep. No wonder they’ve sold their tickets. Its easy for hangers on to travel. It would be like a day trip to Bury market for us.
e) The F.A give sweet F.A about all of the above :angry:Its the same for every other club too. Just us who seem to have a problem getting fans down there.
10 April 2013 at 11:08 pm #108638We all know that fans equal prizes.
WHAT???? THEY DON’T?????
Who cares how many WAFC fans are there in all honesty??
10 April 2013 at 11:23 pm #108642According to mail online, we haven’t sold 10,000 yet.YYYYYAAAWWWWWWNNNNI’m no apologist for the Mail but they actually say we haven’t sold 10,000 “of our allocation”. In other words we have sold over 20,000 – far more tha our average home attendance.
Please don’t fall into their trap of misreporting.

a)they are at Wembley and everyone knew before third round.
b)ko time should not matter,if you really want to go.transport to London anytime is awful.
c)all 4 teams involved could return again,as has been said before, stoke sold out.they had to return again.
d)it’s easy for anyone to travel anywhere if they want to.newcastle fans to Russia on a Thursday night.
e)very truegod help us if we do get in Europe.like to see the bleating on here and from those not going to semi final, for reasons they have stated, if we have to travel to Kazakhstan on a Thursday night.no trains back from there either.
10 April 2013 at 11:38 pm #108649Said on Granada Reports that we’ve returned 10,000,So if we’ve sold 20,000 I think that’s fantastic considering the opposition and kick off time.
Can’t wait personally. :cheer:
Right that’ll be another thread I’ve killed !! ;)

20,000 will be fantastic, watched the jpt final with only 10,000 Crewe there, they were loud, 20,000 Wiganers will be a lot louder

11 April 2013 at 12:19 am #108665^ your reet, read it wrong. Boooooo to me.To be honest, it’s not unusual for the Mail to rewrite their articles. It may well have said that to begin with. ;)
11 April 2013 at 12:37 am #108670The club should have said how many we have sold instead of the big secret

20,000 will be fantastic, watched the jpt final with only 10,000 Crewe there, they were loud, 20,000 Wiganers will be a lot louderIs right. One TRUE Wigan fan is worth two of Millwall’s big game brigade, surely? Latics taking 20-21,000 is magnificent, given we average around 16k home support. Brilliant.
My mate is an Everton fan, a die hard, I will give him his due. He is Everton mad…goes everywhere. He was texting me before about all this bullshit today “its all over official FA site”. He was LOVING it. I put him straight about the truth.
So many want to see us fail, they willingly believe any old bull that’s said or published. Shame on any North West publication or media programme that joins in putting us down. Any that does should be banned from the club and shunned in future.
London, it seems, gets behind Millwall FC. The North West just tries to ridicual and put Wigan down whenever possible. That’s the difference. Lets just go and win the game and get in the final. Then all the cliches of whippets, flat caps, pies etc can be used. And sp begrudgingly, little Wigan will suddenly be in the showpiece of the English football season.
Not bad for a club with “no fans”, eh?
