The fans forum has been cancelled.
However I have a pre-arranged meeting that can answer any questions you may wanted to ask there, please see the sticky post at the top.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
15 March 2017 at 11:02 pm #156890I don’t think they had anything to gain by going ahead with it. It still could’ve turned nasty, and it would’ve been very awkward.
Whilst the managerial thing is in limbo, there was no point. But Jason has a great opportunity to speak to the powers that be on behalf of us all.
16 March 2017 at 12:13 am #156893Can you ask them why Barrow is still chief coach despite a turnover of several managers? Why do new managers never seem to bring their own backroom staff with them these days!

True but if the others are anything to go by I feel it would have been business as usual! Sharpe has now hinted at Barrow getting the managers job full time! I just don’t get why he is still here despite the changes ?
16 March 2017 at 5:42 pm #156927Dave Whelan has sacked Barrow once? Has he improved since then ;)
16 March 2017 at 6:26 pm #156929Well if Barrow fails again Sharpie will have the pleasure of sacking him again its probably the only way we will be rid of him so time will tell. My worry is the reaction on attendances next season.

I don’t think Barrow even wants the job even if he pulls off the impossible.
And he confirmed that for the most part he’s had little input with previous managers.

If he doesn’t want it SW it makes it a ridiculous appointment does it not?. I don’t envy him over the next 9 games the damage has been done and probably terminally.
17 March 2017 at 7:58 pm #156971“I’ve told the players when I played here we all used to go to the old social club at Springfield Park and the players used to socialise with the supporters. There was always one bloke in there who would turn round to me and say ‘Graham, you did alright today’, he would never say I did great and told me sometimes that I was awful, but he bought me a pint and we had a chat about the game, and that’s what I like about people from Wigan, they tell you what they think.
“It’s not a problem in modern day football that everybody has an opinion, but let’s put all these opinions to one side until 4.50pm tomorrow and then we’ll see where we are.”
Anyone know him?
