No they f*cking don’t. There isn’t a team in history that has responded positively to booing. Just don’t do it and certaily don’t condone it.
Players don’t go on the pitch to lose games and booing them when times are hard is just f*cking dumb, done by dumb people.RANT OVER
And for f*ucks sake don’t come back with the old chestnut of I pay my money so I can boo if I want, those are the dumbest of the dumb.
7 November 2016 at 12:41 pm #152233I had a couple of guys near me booing almost every time they had the ball. It’s annoying and as you say achieves nothing during a game.
I think it was Bobby that said save booing for the manager after the final whistle if it has been a bad display, get behind the players at all times whole they are on the pitchFA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
7 November 2016 at 4:33 pm #152243Fans are entitled to do what they feel is right, some don’t even clap/cheer when we r playing well, so each to there own.
7 November 2016 at 4:46 pm #152245At £24-00 for that you should be invited back free next match.
7 November 2016 at 8:04 pm #152251Nope, I don’t like the booing bit, especially during the game. Surely it’s not going to help them. When I do a bit of ok work at work, like take an x ray of someone’s chest and I miss a bit off (tell me someone who hasn’t) and I get a resounding BOOOOO from my (once) ‘mates’, I get really upset, and may even cry.
However, the DW is our theatre and the players are our performers on the stage. We’ve spent good money to watch the performance. They’ve rehearsed their lines. If I go to the Royal Exchange in Manchester and the performers simply appear to be fed up, can’t be arsed, drag their heals and forget their lines …… then I’d do more than boo. I’d ask for a refund. And heaven and the good lord help Mick Jagger if I went to see them and he sat on a chair and sang Jumping Jack flash like Val Doonigan. There would be NO Sympathy for the devil then.
To be fair though, the lads on Saturday weren’t that bad, and so on reflection …booooing was uncalled for.

7 November 2016 at 11:32 pm #152265What about fecking off half an hour before time. ( not me by the way )
7 November 2016 at 11:38 pm #152266Why would you? We were 2 – 0 down at Chesterfield and ended up 2 – 3 in the last 5 minutes.
I had a sneaky feeling that was going to happen on Saturday, our reward for staying. it didn’t happen and I felt let down. (shhhh keep it quiet, I didn’t think it was quite as bad as every one is making out, apart from the start, after that we kinda held our own). See worse.

8 November 2016 at 4:14 am #152274Never booed. I just don’t clap.
As a supporter (there is a difference between that and a fan) you take the rough with the smooth. I may vent on here and in the pubs but I would never boo*
*gave the Wigan RL players the middle finger and told several to f*** off at half time in the 2001 Grand Final but we were 20 points down.
