The Chairman may be a problem as there ain’t to many oil rich Billionaires living in Scholes. But the manager wouldn’t be a problem, he has one way of playing and his team can’t play that way.

Good shout there Paul though I do think Mr Whelan has made his bed and he is tucked up snug as a bug in a rug. Perhaps Mrs Whelan gave him a super tuck before getting in the other side. If you was not an old lag I’m sure you would get shouted down by the Light brigade or what ever they are. Fannying around with the ball and then losing it cheaply and then Bob coming out with Psycho babble after yet another defeat does not keep this Club in this league. There will be a breaking point soon and a defeat against Fulham WELL????????????????
If we don’t get anything from our next 3 games the Martinez out banners will start filtering into the stadium. That would really pi$$ Whelan off. I wonder how he would react.
Let’s be honest. If we don’t get anything out of November then we are effectively relegated for Christmas. But we have made progress haven’t we :blink: :blink:
Finishing 16th then 16th again and now second bottom is not progress. 4-0 home defeat at home to Blackpool, 9-1, 8-0, 6-0. Hardly score lines of an established and progressing Premiership club. Getting embarrassingly whacked out of every cup competition by lower league opposition to boot. What exactly has he done to earn so much praise from everyone because all i can see is a woeful job. And i won’t get started on the way he tries to get us playing.

For various reasons, not one of them would even entertain the idea of coming to Wigan, Horc
But if people say it on this site then it must be possible…..
I suspect people have really no idea how hard it is to get a manager of class to come to a club like Wigan and truely want to change the way a club is run. Bob is trying that, though most people cant see that.
I do think we need some new coaching staff, or at least someone to stop the flow of goals.
Ladies, please get used to the idea that we are heading downwards, Championship first then god knows where after that.
Mr Whelan will stick with Martinez to the bitter end, and there is no cavalry coming over the hill.
