Left the game with 20 mins left yesterday, its just not fair for the loyal fans who are spending hard earned cash to see one decent performance this year which was on tuesday. If we do stay up how many will turn up next year to watch the same s!”t if Martinez is still there. He is like Scotland and Gomez, not good enough for the premiership. When Martinez and the players do eventually move on they will be close to, if not millionaires and will not give a s!”t about the club but we will still be paying money to watch our team. If we try and loose i dont mind but that yesterday was shocking. He should go at the end of the season even if we stay up. And someone will probrably say i am not loyal for leaving with 20 mins left, so what, just peed off at the moment!

The reason that Martinez came to Wigan in the summer was because he DOES care passionately about Wigan.
The reason that many (most?) people welcomed him back was because he has always spoken well of and with passion for Wigan.
The reason that many (most?) people, whilst reserving the right to question some of his selections, tactics, comments, etc., will not turn against him (in a banner-making type way) is that, unlike any potential replacement you could possibly think of, his is also undoubtedly a supporter of the club as well as the manager.
OK, we would all like to be winning more games – it may even statistically be the worst season for 35 years (can’t really be bothered researching) BUT to say that Martinez “doesn’t give a s!”t about the club”, sorry but WRONG.That is why we can say truthfully that at the moment (in fact always) we are all in this together, you, me, Martinez and all.
I would add that if large numbers (of supporters) all throw their toys out of the pram before or during the Villa game and then again before or during the Burnley game then it is unlikely to be of any more help to the cause than bringing xxx or yyy on as a substitute.
Each to their own – everybody pays their money and can have their say but for as long as Martinez doesn’t ever come out with “we have crap crowds” (true as it may be) or “we have crap supporters, many of whom never stop whinging” (also true) like some of his predecessors then in return I will offer my fervent support to him and to the club.
Roll on Tuesday.
What does it matter if he does not come out with we have rubbish crowds, he is not good enough and will damage the club as people will not want to watch us. We are strugling as it is with crowds. Also no matter what you think at the end of the day he is here for the money. As are all the players. Also, this is one of the worst seasons i have watched football wise, first few games we decent but that has all gone out of the window, 5 in the middle and how many time do we pass a fifty yard ball from defence to one player up front. I hope i am wrong and he turns it around but at the moment i cant see it happening, one fault is, is that he is to pally with Scotland and Gomez that is why he keeps playing them and everyone can see that they are not good enough.
We welcome your multiposting views. Wigan have poor crowds only if you compare against other premiership teams, if you look at the fan base this is growing, and if you understood it would take a generation to significantly increase this, then you would understand it will be difficult to maintain the recent growth. We will never be a top 6 team in this league, with regular wins to keep the JCL happy.
The majority of fans and moaners on here would complain if they won the lottery and they got paid in fivers.
If you had watched Wigan for 35 years, you would realise that this isnt the worse football we have played. Remember the early 90’s for a start.
Oh and lastly Martinez has moved away from starting with Scotland and Gomez, the squad is very thin and he has very little options but to play them to change things.
We may not be good enough, but at the moment we are better than those below us, and that will bring us safety.
