I walked to the match and got talking to some Sunderland fans. We got onto the subject of Figueroa, and one of them told me that the deal was done at the begining of the season that he would go at the start of the new season but Dave Whealan pulled out 6 mins before the deadline. I dont know if he will go in jan. If he does i think we will go down and it will show no ambition at all for the club. I dont think its fair in the season ticket holders like myself as we will keep going as we have paid. Not that i would stop going, but to keep selling our best players and not replacing them is asking for relegation. I thought that we would go down at the start of the season and i still think there is a good chance of it. I think it will be between about 10 teams. Dont know if the backroom staff are good enough or experienced to keep us up.
