The point of the post was about the selling starting not about if Morsy is good or better or worse than anyone.
There are no rumours around about a new right back yet.
Only ones are Morsy going and possibly Byrne too to Charlton.Morsy is that shit he is currently a regular in a team sitting 8th in the Championship. McDonald would also be a regular in that team.
The point is, everyone is proclaiming him as the saviour of our season. He’s a defensive midfielder, and that’s not what we need.

Players will leave before the end of the window and Joycey will possibly get a small percentage of that for players plus kids from premier league clubs. Similar to most windows since entering the premier league 12 years ago. Problem is the budget gets less and less every window and the side gets worse and worse. Austerity is nowt new at Latics as we have had to cope and make do with the budget declining every window along with the standard of the team. We are a small club from a small town with just a few fans. Without a fairy godmother what can we do to stop the decline?

You are correct. We are indeed a small town club (such as rochdale, oldham, pompey even) with very little support & unfortunately stuck in the middle of manchester & liverpool. A few seasons ago we punched above our weight, topped that of by winning the FA Cup & suddenly in folk’s eyes we are an established premier league club that should be back where we belong.
No! We are (as i have said in a post elsewhere) a mid-bottom championship/league 1 team. The sooner folk realise this the better. Additionally, in all of my 39 years as a latics mon, this club has always sold off its better to players to survive. It was no different in 1978 to what it is now. Just enjoy the ride. I do!!

I really like Will as a player, gives 100% and purrs around like a rolls royce, is he good enough for the championship? half a season says hes not. :(

He can be coached by the top coaches in the world, but it wont stop him failing to score in one on one situations, missing point blank headers or failing to win any arial challenges.
He is our modern day Graham Jones, was a golden boot winner in one league, went up a league and looked like he was playing in Wellington boots. You see this often in football, however I would love it if he started banging them in. I’ve always rated the lad and to be honest if you are talking about coaches, they don’t come with better credentials than his current one.

In defense of Jones jr he did have an hernia problem after his amazing season and was maybe rushed back a little too early but I too hope Will hits a purple patch though I just don’t see it in the present set up. Hope I’m wrong marrer.
