Alright, i loved him when he was here & what he did for us, BUT, he is a Villa player now, move on people, no sentiments in football in my view anyway.
To be fair to the lad, probably put him in a dilemma in whether to acknowledge the home fans or not, coming off with his team 2 nil down if he applauded the home support may have seen a bit disrespectful to his team mates/fans.

didn’t say i don’t respect him for what he did, he was a great player for us no doubt about it & wish he was still a Wigan player but he isn’t, he’s moved on & so should we, even if he celebrates or not IF he scores against us, that doesn’t matter to me, i still won’t applaud him & why should i? Points & Wigan winning is all that matters is it not? that’s my view anyway.moot point, the lad gave an embarassed half wave as he got to the dug out.
