All thugby games are a strain on the pitch.

    Thugby!

If I was even tempted to take you seriously and treat you like an adult…
That seems a grown up sensible and clever description, bearing in mind the assault on that poor defensive Saints player a couple of months ago.

Just cos you didn’t invent the word Griff it doesn’t mean its childish and all that.
You are getting very boring with your put downs, it was quite funny a couple of years back, but is wearing extremely thin now. Even your mate Standish seems to have stopped his synchronized posting tactics:ohmy:
It ended when you stopped posting your anti-Martinez drivel.

or the maybe it because travel plans for the Aussies are already in place and can’t be changed combined with the fact that there is nowhere else suitable or who will allow them to play the game at that time.

Not sure when Brisbane are flying home, but it’s because the final (or the only game that actually means anything in this ‘series’) is on the Sunday as it should be and as Latics no longer play after the rugby……Latics are playing Friday.

There is absolutely nothing to see here. It’s what happens when two sides amicably share a Stadium.

Now, had we still been in the Premier League that could have been different as PL rules on ground shares state that the PL fixture must take precedence over any over fixture.

Great entertainment, caught some good perch from The Ribble last week.

Applies in the Football League too:
“13.5 Except in cases where a Club seeks consent to enter into a ground-sharing agreement with another Club, it shall be a condition of any such consent that the ground-sharing agreement shall contain provision to ensure that:

13.5.1 the playing of any of the Club’s first team matches will always take precedence over the activities of the other party to the agreement; ……..”

However the matter has obviously been amicably agreed between Latics, Charlton and Warriors. If it had been an issue then Latics would have had first call, but clearly Charlton have been accommodating too.

Is our game live on TV on the Friday night? If so, the £250 each team receives would have helped soften the blow.
