Forgive me if this has already been debated, but……..
All the fuss made about setting off flares in the stands by the club, police, fans etc and yet a Boro fan looks like he sneaked one in no trouble at all.
In fact it looked like the flare just died its natural death without even a blink from stewards or police.
I am not condoning the setting off of flares at football matches, but FFS make an effort to check people coming through the turnstiles.
We seem to get the patted under arm to ankle malarkey at most grounds we visit. I’ve even had the tin foil opened up on mi butties at one ground.
It looks pish poor on the club after making all those noises then let it happen under their noses. :woohoo:

What a journey!It doesn’t help when wigan athletic are standing stewards down for home games to save money the was no stewards outside the south stand on Tuesday till gone 7.15 bloody rubbish wigan put the safety of the fans before money
Its hardly rocket science to put a camera for the entire match on certain sections as the flares in our end are in the same row every time. Surprised it hasnt been mentioned here that one got thrown in ES2 at the Doncaster game and a lad ejected.
And do you think cameras aren’t selectively focussed on particular areas?
The images are very high quality.
The cameras may well be focussed on certain areas but i would doubt that they are doing their job as despite the flares being released for a while thats the first time i have seen someone ejected! Most of the time its like being back at school as some gormless steward walks up the steps as if hes looking for somebody, glaring and then walks back down as if its a case of the first one to laugh gets thrown out. Pure amateurs.
