Get well soon Jordan.
Fuck the EFL
25 October 2017 at 5:27 pm #162844Doesn’t sound too good this, Jordan has been moved to a Sheffield hospital. Now this isn’t just a matter of the lad being patched up and sent home.
26 October 2017 at 5:32 pm #162855Hope the lad is ok, but the lack of details coming out is a bit worrying being honest.
26 October 2017 at 11:56 pm #162865Don’t know why we should think we need to be in the loop about someone’s medical condition.
Frankly it’s none of our business.
I wish the lad well.27 October 2017 at 12:04 am #162866Why is the wellbeing of a Wigan Ath employee not in our interest?

I wish the lad well.Because a grazed elbow is a bit different to 2 broken legs and a fractured skull. My point was, it would be nice to know if it was nothing too serious. When you consider the other driver was taken by air ambulance, it IS quite worrying.
Yes, you could say its none of our business. But maybe we care enough to wonder? Whatever the extent, we ALL wish him a full and speedy recovery.
27 October 2017 at 11:13 pm #162886Don’t misunderstand me.
I am seriously concerned for the lad. I feel for his family.
But in doing that I do not subscribe to the mawkish “we need to know because he plays for us” mentality.
At this moment he is a young lad, who is “poorly”, and his family need space to deal with it and support his recovery.
Without us “needing to know” or speculating.28 October 2017 at 12:42 am #162889Don’t misunderstand me.

Without us “needing to know” or speculating.Thats fair enough.
I was only curious out of genuine concern for Jordan. Thats all it was. When it came through that “young Latics midfielder in car crash”, obviously that brings back tragic memories for our club.
I have heard this afternoon he has quite serious back injuries. Just hope he recovers, however long that takes.
Hope we sing his name tomorrow, as is being planned. “Hes one of our own”.
28 October 2017 at 3:24 am #162898I spoke with his dad yesterday and he said he is currently in the right place at the moment (a specialist unit in Sheffield Hospital) and the consultants are looking after him.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
28 October 2017 at 3:48 pm #16290028 October 2017 at 11:37 pm #162922My lad showed me a picture today of him sat up in bed looking ok. So fingers crossed he won’t need surgery and will make a full recovery.
31 October 2017 at 6:40 pm #162981Latest is that the consultant is sure Jordan will be better off in the long run if his spine can correct itself and so is holding off the surgery option.

Scar tissue been one of the main factors. You only have to look at Tiger Woods, no amount of money will correct he’s long term back problems so hopefully Jordan will put it right with good physio.
