Sorry to do a Donnelly, but a message to all the Martinez haters out there: football management isn’t easy, even the masters have their doubts.

23 December 2010 at 5:46 pm #53891We have plenty mental patience
23 December 2010 at 6:37 pm #53893there is a big difference between hating someone and thinking that they are not the right person for the job –
why do you supporters of martinez feel the need to throw out constant accusations of -hating martinez, JCLs – un loyal to the club, fickle fans and bad supporters because we feel that the person in charge is clueless, some of martinez’s supporters on here seem to adopt some sort of moral high ground in the club loyalty area for some reason.
most of the people who dont believe martinez is the right man for us loved what this man brought to us as a player and have no personal grudges against him what so ever, in fact i personally think he is a gentleman of the highest order from the occasions i have met him,
the problem when employing any friend or family member is the emotional bond tends to cloud ones judgement sometimes,
i have no doubts at all that if whelan had not had a previous relationship with martinez he would be part of our distant history by now.to use a title thread of “For all the Martinez haters” it is falling on deaf ears.

It would be very interesting to know the truth behind Graham Barrow being appointed

i think boris johnson is an imbecile but i have also met him and would consider him a gentleman spent a very enjoyable couple of hours sat next to him on a flight to vienna-but it doesnt change my opinion on him or his ability as a politician.
23 December 2010 at 8:42 pm #53898LMB – Your choice of Boris to support your argument is entirely justified.
I also met him once, albeit very briefly.
Just outside the Palace of Westminster is a pelican crossing. As I approached I noticed Boris stood there staring at the button and the lights. He had no idea how it worked. I said excuse me and pressed the button. He was amazed when the lights then changed and the traffic stopped for us to cross.
Imbecile is too kind.
