My big gripe with the lad is his lack of heart because has the talent.

Waghorn came on and straightaway whilst being fouled won the ball. Fortune would have gone down and not even won the foul.

I was expecting a display from him similar to Wembley where I thought he was superb. Drag Onohua and Dunne towards him letting Callum and Maloney run at their men. He failed massively though sadly.

Still all to play for but I always thought this tie would be settled by maybe 1 goal.I thought Fortunes miss wasn’t an easy one as it came across at pace but as a striker his overall game is poor.He is a poor target, can’t dig the ball out from under his feet and has touch of a rhino.I agree with previous poster that QPR did a great job on us and will be pleased with 0-0.I hope I’m wrong but a finisher like Austin will take one of the few chances he gets on Monday which will be the only difference between the two teams. In 90 mins we created very little but we didn’t concede so the pressure now on QPR to finish the job but I think nerves will play it’s part and remember we have a great resolution in big one off games recently .

At least we know Fortune is going to have a bad game, we don’t expect it from Maloney, Macmanaman, McCarthur, Perch, Beau [well maybe] I could go on, but the only one’s to come out with any credit tonight were Carson, Caldwell, Kiernan, Boyce and Gomez.

Guess what boys and girls, it was Rosler who picked Fortune over Waghorn and Maynard, shouldn’t he be getting the stick?.

Yes Fortune was shyte tonight, but so were a few others.

QPR done a good job on us tonight, it weren’t pretty, it weren’t edge of yer seat stuff, it was a bloody good job! :(

We are still in the tie and wouldn’t surprise me if we did um at their place.

We just have to make sure that we do a job on um, Uwe over to you son.

But why, in your opinion, did so many players have a bad game? Did they all just suffer an off night simultaneously?

Was the shape of the team wrong? Were QPR organised to counter our tactics? What changes to tactics or players might we have made at half time?

And what is the remedy? Or do you think that it is enough for Uwe to go into the dressing room and say, “Do a job on um!”? Answers before Monday night, please.[/quote]

The answer is YES. QPR will different opposition on Monday than they was last night and therefore we will get more space, time and opportunity to get at them.

Thought you would have understood that without all those questions, or were you just being a cnut?

I thought you weren’t happy with Uwe’s choice.

But I’m not sure what you want him to change.

You’ve still got a few hours to give him the vital instructions.

Your there again big gob jumping in without thinking. I didn’t say I wasn’t happy with Uwe’s team, I said that quite a few players he picked had a poor game and named um, although tbf others thought McCarthur had a decent game.

When we win, the manager and players quite rightly get the credit, but when we lose it seems a witch hunt has to start on one player. It used to be Gomez, now its Fortune. I don’t particularly like the player, he has been a big let down this season, but Rosler sees him in training each day and puts him in the team, especially on the big games, that’s my point.

As for the comment about giving him instructions, grow up you wally!
