It’s ok HINDLEY, we’ve had elements of the lightside moving in all day. There was a whole company of them moving in towards our positions, but even with such short numbers, we managed to hold them off. It got pretty hairy for a while, and we got a bit of a shallacking with those ’88’s, but we didn’t come out of it too badly.

They used pedantic tactics, like referring to previous comments and threads. Acronysms.
Fact is, they will NOT admit the bleeding obvious. They can accuse us of being ‘darkside’, or whatever, but these people STILL think Latics will get 40 points!

The problem is, you are a MODERATOR. You need to moderate, but not opinionate. The way you are moderating, you are only willing to listen to ONE side of the argument. It reminds me of the child who dashes and hides behind the couch, when something comes on television that they don’t like. You should be giving equal respect to both sides of the argument, but you have firmly stated your feelings.

You are in a position of ‘power’ over these people, so you should never put yourself in a position where you can TAKE from them, I.E. ‘point score’.

Learn to ‘sit on the fence’ a bit more, and designate the argument duties to your ‘NCO’s’, such as Griff. :lol:
