3 year deal according to sky sports! :)

Sorry to dampen the spirits with this one, but he is a very poor player at a poor team. Unless he undergoes some sort of Steve Austin therapy, if he get close to the bench before 2015 we will be in a poor way.
Crikey Edinburgh bit harsh bit soon mate……

Roberto has plans for him and as for me…..I’m one for supporting those plans.

    The Future is bright………
As usual, everyone is entitled to their opinion but, as usual, I’ll take Roberto’s opinion over and above any opinion emanating from this forum.
I was right about Caldwell turning slower than an oil tanker….
Yet now, he is player of the season. Let’s wait and see, is what I say.

From what I gather, he was generally poor last season – but some of the Aberdeen fans have put that down to him recovering from injury and wanting away from the club.

There seems to be mixed opinions on him ranging from an overrated player with a bad attitude to a fantastic talent who will flourish under the right manager.

I’ve seen him play a couple of times on TV and he didn’t really stand out. Saying that, neither did Malony in the games I’d seen him play in prior to joining Wigan.

I like to think I can bring a hint of pre season cheer to those waiting for August. Saying all that am sure Bob knows what he’s doing, but surely we cant have 2 gingers in the team. Is this the end for Watson?

I think this guy is clearly here as one for the future, despite the noises from Martinez that he he will be competing for a place immediately. Very few of his signings go straight into the first team, do they?

I’d like to think there will be other deals over the coming weeks for us to get a tad more excited about.

We also seem to kick start players careers who are on a downward curve.Bramble came labelled a clown and went being mentioned for the national team. Heskey came an has-been and did indeed get back into the England team. Gary Caldwell came with no real expectations but has become a stalwart in the side and as Griff rightly pointed out made player of the year. There is something about this club which breathes new life in certain players so lets hope the same thing happens with Frazer.Hopefully we will see him for some part of the game at Southport so lets give the lad a chance. ;) ;) ;)
