Now before I’m accused of being a pessimist, let me say I know its Arsenal away and were lucky to be on the same pitch in a quarter final and yes look how far we have come to be frustrated at losing to Arsenal but this moan again is about the way we lose.
One shot on target again, no save from there keeper and with 51% of the possesion, its blatantly obvious that the team is set up to keep the ball but we simply cannot do anything cutting with it.
I am tearing my hair out at how well we do out wide to create the space but never ever cross the ruddy thing cos there is no one to cross it too. We end up passing it back in field another dozen times before giving it away.
Its doing my head in – frustrating as hell, why oh why can he not see its not working, possession stats does not get points goals do AGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

why does he play 1 up front, we dont score, midfield dont get up quick enough, and if he thinks it to protect our back line, well it just aint working,Call me deluded but I do believe given a 4-4-2 formation this team could do well. To many players in midfield allow them to hide and not take responsibility, no outlet upfront as we dont commit men forward.
Come on Bob save Christmas for all of us and change it.
In my opinion we have arguably got the best squad we’ve ever had, but we’re just not getting the best out of them.
We’ve got wingers in our team, we’ve got decent central midfielders and I’m sure we could find a combination out of Boselli,Rodallega and Di Santo which could get our scoring rate up.
Why can’t we try a different formation to see what happens? Surely the fact we can retain position so well doesn’t mean it will all go to pot if we play 4-4-2?
I think Saturday could be a Save Our Season game for us the way things are going because if we don’t start picking up points and looking like we can put the ball in the back of the net, I fear we’ve had it.
January is just around the corner and we don’t want to be in a position where all the decent rats are looking to desert the ship!
Does anyone really believe that Whelan will stand by what he said about keeping Bob even if he takes us down? Dave is a businessman and he won’t want to see tens of millions go down the drain with us being relegated.
I think if things haven’t improved in the next couple of games, the wind of change could very well be blowing through the DW.

I hope you are right with Mr Whelan getting pi%%ed off with this dross.And if Boselli was any good do you think he would have come to us?
Surely the fact we can retain position so well doesn’t mean it will all go to pot if we play 4-4-2?I have absolutely no faith that these players will play any better in a 442. I have every confidence that our 4-man midfield would be torn apart even easier than our 5-man midfield is torn apart. I have no confidence that we will create any more chances for two strikers rather we do for one striker.
However, I would like to find out and would be very happy to be proved wrong.
My frustration with last night..Was going down to see a defensive plan to win a game (a quarter final no less)We went with a little nugget of hope of progressing.We in my opinion could have fielded a side to beat that Arsenal side.
Bobbies positives…
A fantastic experience for James McAthur and Ben Watson and pleased to see Callam come on..They didnt look like the where enjoying it from where i was sitting.
What about the negatives…
Us fans who will be here long after Bobbie has gone and destroyed our premiership journey!!
