19 March 2010 at 12:29 pm #27076If anything, it’s done us a favour.
Away at City on the Monday night, so it gives our players a couple of days extra rest.
I had marked those two games as being the critical time where we could slide down. Maybe not now.
Cheers Juventus!
19 March 2010 at 1:34 pm #27082No games are played on Easter Sunday as i recall.
19 March 2010 at 1:49 pm #27085No games are played on Easter Sunday as i recall. There did used to be an official FA rule that forbid any matches on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
I’m not sure whether is still applies given that all religious nods are in the direction of the god that is Sky, these days.
19 March 2010 at 2:22 pm #27086It is a bit annoying. I booked my train ticket last week, but that will teach me for not remembering Fulham were still in the Europa League.
I’m sure there was something on the official website that the game would be Easter Sunday if Fulham went through.
I would imagine with them still in the FA Cup and Europe the chances of there being enough spare midweek dates makes Sunday the most realistic time for them.
