Rioch has confirmed that money from the sale of Hughes & Aasgaard which is around £6 million will go towards the stadium upkeep/upgrades and the upgrade of training facilities.

      1) towards the stadium ? if we no longer own the stadium then why are we alone funding the upkeep and upgrades ?.
I don’t see the fat f#ckin egg chasers putting cash in thats because they don’t make a fcukin penny.

      2) Training facilities ? which ? Christopher Park or the women’s at Orrell ??. Will our squad (mens that is) benefit ??

To me it seems Danson’s pinching from Peter to pay Paul, were funding the upgrades from player salesbecause his other entities making fcuk all

Wow….haven’t read article but that really shows the reality of us subsidising the other 2 whilst we sell our few assets. . Love to hear the rose tinted brigade put their usual positive spin on this. If we no longer own the ground then why ?????…Club is a skeleton!!!!….

Well it’s a hard one to get your head round,Danson owns the lot so it’s not like we can simply be charged rent he’d be paying himself so we have to in theory contribute towards the running of the stadium because we use it rent free, so in a way that’s fine.

          But,
We share the stadium with someone who also doesn’t own it and pays f*ck all cause their in huge debt.

So if the rugby do not contribute to the grounds upgrade / upkeep (which I cannot imagine that happening as they are heavily in debt) then basically nothings changed plus we own it but we don’t and they live rent free and maintenance free, wtf ??

So actually we are paying the rugby’s lions share of the upkeep and their rent.

Also, will the players benefit from any new training facilities or will any upgrading only relate to Orrell for the women’s and not Christopher Park ?.

For that past good few years as a club we’ve lived alife of turmoil enough to write a book. Finally we have an owner who has come in to stabilise the club and we’re ever so grateful.

It now seems that Wigan Athletic as a club will be the keeper of the inn funding all 3 entities.

We have a ticketing system that’s no better than “Buy a strip” in the local boozer, TVs on the concourse not worked for 2 years and those that do pump out sh*t adverts for funeral directors try some fcukin half time scores like all the others clubs, funny he’s not got Firesticks on.
We have 2 turnstiles were I go that, anything over 10k in a 25k stadium makes a match day look like your queuing up for a f#ckin Champions League Final people missed 20 minutes against Fulham with a half empty stadium.

I’ll say it again, the women’s team is a fantastic idea but not for us right now. There’s plenty of clubs who don’t have a women’s team simply because it brings in no money it just a drain on the clubs finances.

I was of a thought that, the women’s team was a Danson choice were he would personally pay for due to the fact it will take years for us to put our house in order but by the sounds of Rioch that’s not the case with some money from Hughes & Aasgaard going towards training facilities I’d guess that’s Orrell.
If I took over Wigan Athletic in serious debt huge wage bills and massive weekly overheads I can tell you this I would not expand to a women’s team then use any of the mens money to subsidise it, it would be the last thing I did at “this moment in time” that’s till the club were on an even keel then start one.

I’d just like to point out before the haters come on with their sharpened sticks, I’m not against a women’s side what I’m against is starting one up when we’re under huge financial restraints and not a pot to p*ss in.

If it was 2 years down the line brilliant but if Wigan Athletic is using money from the sales of our players to fund a new training facilities for the women at Orrell and the upkeep and improvements to “the stadium” then for me it’s wrong.

We have smashed the spending on players and for Rioch to say we’ll be in the top ten of spenders ? Really fcuk me I missed that one pal I would have said more like the top 4 of sellers

Well looks like we will be selling for the foreseeable future with little going back into the men’s side. Tickle Carragher and Robinson windfall will be next just so we can keep the other ticking over nicely.

So we’re would the women’s and rugby be without WAFC ?
          Dead
          Why
They’ve no money and an owner who won’t put in

And for that reason CW, I’m out !!!
Even if the new season ticket was priced at a tenner !

The big one will be when Robinson goes in the summer cause he will.
Don’t forget Everton apparently have a 33% sell on clause on any profit we make from any future sales that come our way.

So I reckon we could be looking at around £5-£6million
The I testing bit will be

What will Maloney get from that ?
Place your bets guys £00:00 has been taken out the betting

            #205073

As I’ve said previously; he’ll get the loose change; just enough to buy a round of Bovrils for the squad after training session.

I think Danson is re-inventing the PONZI scheme.

Whoever agreed to give Everton 33% sell on fee, is a clown. That’s ridiculously high. I play management games and they are so realistic these days, Mourinho and others actually use them for research.
I’ve never done a sell on for more than 25%. Usually it’s 15-20%. To sign off giving someone a THIRD of the sell on fee…thats absolute madness. Been done again.
