If jordi hadn’t missed that pen we’d have been delighted with a point today especially looking at the other results, but the overriding emotion is one of disappointment.
Fact is Bolton played better than us, Ali was mom, some top saves. Barnett was lucky only to get a yellow even though it looked a crap decision by the liner, as was the free kick that lead to the goal, again given to the liner. The forward leant into Barnett. Fecking liners this year have been shocking.
They missed some sitters too at 1 0 but like I said instead of feeling happy was a bit peeved at FT.
Got to say it was a good save rather than bad miss though. Two misses means it’s someone else’s turn, Powell until Shaun returns?

As Mr Greaves use to say its a funny old game, but great results else where today. Hardest thing for me I think, is to get to the play off final, I’m sure we’ll get in to the play offs, but getting to the play off final is the challenge. So it didn’t really matter yesterday, that we were playing our local rivals and had the chance of snatching / robbing 3 points, with virtually the last kick of the game?

What a journey!No big deal. If we dont get in play offs 5 clear, game in hand and 4 home games coming up seems little point going up anyway. Was daylight robbery us getting a point. Too many had a day off. Key now is Rosler knowing his starting eleven come May and assuring top 6 for Burnley match so lads can rest up.
I think the fact the Bolton player was running towards the corner and not towards goal saved Barnett, however I don’t even think it was a foul. Was Leon supposed to disappear or change his run just incase their feet clipped one another? Total accident as opposed to a malicous act like the Waghorn one on Ream for example.
