There you go. Well done to the club.
18 July 2018 at 2:53 pm #170384The North East’s 4th biggest club are also interested in signing him!
Fuck the EFL
18 July 2018 at 5:57 pm #170388Time for a large portion of humble pie Mutty.
18 July 2018 at 10:07 pm #170391I applaud the conviction of any racist – including those who may live in Sunderland. Racism, just like homophobia, is vile and should be rooted out at every opportunity – whether its an inhabitant of Sunderland racially abusing an on-loan Newcastle player at Wigan Athletic or a subscriber to the WEP comments section banging on about illegal immigrants helping Lisa Nandy retain her seat in the 2015 General Election.
The racist has no support on here either:
Post #54 has an interesting theory though – I’ll keep you informed if his claim is correct.
18 July 2018 at 10:18 pm #170393Some folk only want hear what they believe.a funny old world out there.some will find our country even funnier. Without the mention of mps poititions.

Sorry, mutty, but the #54 claim is disingenuous on a Donald Trump level.
The guy lives in Sunderland, and Sunderland aren’t exactly known for their love of Magpies.
I applaud the Sunderland fans who have set themselves apart from him and his hatred.
I applaud your espousal of them.
Please don’t then try to muddy the waters with a spurious claim, if he had evidence then produce it.
No. This guy was a misguided, bitter Sunderland fan. We all have them (bitter and misguided I mean).
Accept it and move on.
Justice has been done.19 July 2018 at 12:53 am #170398Banging my hand on the table trying to control my laughter at post #166600.

Justice has been done.[/quote]I dare say you are right GL. However, what doesn’t sit right with me and many others on the SMB is why a Sunderland fan would have even heard of Ivan Toney, who played just two games for Newcastle in 2015 before being shipped out on loan to four lower league clubs on six occasions, and why they would wait two years after his last appearance for Newcastle to then tweet a racist message to him. The Daily Mirror article from last December quotes Wigan Athletic saying “This account has been blocked for some time by the club”, which implies White had been on their radar as a troublemaker even before Ivan Toney had signed on loan. I’ve yet to see anything that identifies him as a Sunderland fan, other than he lives in the city. As you well know, living in a town doesn’t automatically make you a supporter of that club.
However, as you say, justice has been done and there will be one less racist at a football ground from this day forward. We can all drink to that bit of good news!
19 July 2018 at 2:05 am #170400Rumours today that Sunderland are interested in signing Ivan Toney.
Maybe only a rumour but what is true is that he isn’t very good and that’s regardless of creed, colour, sexual orientation, gender etc.
Not being very good is not one of the seven strands of discrimination and so alports scale of discrimination doesn’t work with someone having an opinion about a player being not very good.19 July 2018 at 2:11 am #170401The link they are using to say he’s a Wigan fan says nothing of the sort.
Does it really matter who he supports though?
19 July 2018 at 3:16 am #170403No it doesn’t Egg, but GL has stated that because he lives in Sunderland, he is a Sunderland fan.
Donny – not being very good is a pre-requisite for being a Sunderland player – in fact, we have a long and proud history of dominating the transfer market in this category!

I think we can join you in that category Mutty but I am sure a point that we all must agree on is the fact this scumbag is now paying for his indecency irrespective of where he is from or for who he may support.
We dont need low lifes like this pinning their name to any flag. -
