    …off?

As I don’t live in Wigan what does everyone reckon the prospects are for tomorrow’s game. Will it be on or called off?

I have a 160 mile journey to the DW, so any help appreciated before I decide if it’s worth setting out in the morning.

Unless it drops plenty more overnight, I can’t see anyway it will be off. Check back in in the morning and I’ll give you my expert weather opinion ;)

I’ve just cancelled my BBQ for tomorrow.

Can’t see a problem with the game but getting here be a problem from down south.

If it is called off it will be because the approaches to the ground are deemed to be unsafe and dangerous rather than anything to do with the pitch or playing conditions.

Thanks gents. I’ve decided to buy train tickets and give it a go that way rather than drive. At least I can have a couple of beers and if the train is delayed, well, I can have another couple!

I’ve driven up from my place for the weekend, and was glad I didn’t go via stoke, as I believe the a50 was atrocious.

If the game gets cancelled I suppose I could go into town and buy the new warriors shirt!.

You can slag him off for being a rugby fan and a Sunderland fan but not for where he lives, surely? Just because you’ve probably never been outside of Wigan

SDW and his mum have just been told that people who were born in Wigan do actually move away and live elsewhere:

it’s a bit like top/middle/bottom with this mon….”supports” a team from up top…..”supports” worryers (middle)…..and lives down bottom (south).

at least their is someone living down south who has actually heard of rugger league i suppose…..a foxy bonus for your game surely ;)

Game definitely ON after pitch inspection.

About half-way down in box on right:
