He has quit his job on the Mail on Sunday as he reckons their story at the weekend about Triesman has damaged England’s World Cup campaign.
Good for him.
He still remains a pratt in the overall scheme of things though.
18 May 2010 at 6:47 pm #33926Good on him. It seems that most of the papers are more interested in ruining the reputation our our country and players. The John Terry affair, Glenn Hoddle’s comments a few years ago as England coach and now this
18 May 2010 at 6:54 pm #33928Actually, a lot of the papers seem to be against what the MoS has done on this and not just because they didn’t get the story.
That snake Max Clifford is claiming the credit for actually boosting the bid’s chances by encouraging the girl to go public and consequently getting rid of Triesman.
18 May 2010 at 11:26 pm #33959I don’t think you can blame the MoS, they’re just doing they’re job. I mean if a huge story like that comes across to them a journalist isn’t gonna just let it go. Triesman shouldn’t have said it, he had no reason to.

Triesman shouldn’t have said it, he had no reason to.It was always going to leak, there was no point hiding it and letting another paper buy the story off someone.

Triesman shouldn’t have said it, he had no reason to.Of course he had a reason to; he was trying to get into a girl’s knickers.
And why did other newspapers, including that paragon of virtue the News of the World, refuse to take it as they deemed it not be in the national interest?
It’s a non-story – as it was clearly a personal and totally unfounded fabricatation and not repesentative of the offcial FA line – and has possibly terminally affected the World Cup bid.
Yep, properly in the national interest, that one.
19 May 2010 at 12:55 pm #34006Here’s another newspaper’s slant on the story

More importantly, is she fit?

Not really, no. Any port in a storm though, and he’s no oil painting himself, is he?
Now, had it been THIS Melissa Jacobs:-
19 May 2010 at 3:49 pm #34023Griff, she isn’t that fit and looks chubby
19 May 2010 at 4:18 pm #34036Griff, she isn’t that fit and looks chubby :shock:I know, there’s a spotty-faced faggot in our office too, and he said the same as you.
I stand corrected.

I don’t have spots and I am tanned and good looking, great looking in fact, I would say I’m fit, and so would most others.
She might be decent looking for the older generation like you Griff who have to take what they can get therefore don’t mind a little extra meat on the bones.
19 May 2010 at 4:25 pm #34043James, your expectations are far too high.
There’s definitely an inverse correlation between age and satisfactory standards. As one increase, the other goes in the opposite direction.
So in summary, I think she’s looking better by the minute.
