Ok, so the general consesus seems to suggest that Martinez should go and I again seem to be in the minority by sticking on the light side. The two performances against Newcastle and Fulham merited points that is a fact anyone who disagrees with that either has not been to the game or had drank too much to realise. The set up and formation of the team was spot on yet again, we controlled the game in terms of possession AND chances! We rattled the post on numerous occasions and missed some gilt edge chances. How on earth is that the managers fault that we concede two goals out of nothing where our defence just switches off? We are sturuggling to score goals admittedly but how else can Martinez change things when Hugo and Moses are given freedom in the team and given chances which should be scored? May no mistake about it the Hugo header and Caldwell miss, most and probably all sunday league players would have converted those chances.
Enough about discussing the last two performances lets go back to the opening 3 fixtures. We WOULD and SHOULD of had 9 pts from the first three games but for an Al Habsi mistake and a penalty miss from Watson. That is not the fault of the manager that againis individual errors. That would have given us 9pts and a bundle of confidence.
So what do i think should change? It wouldn’t be the manager it would be for some of our idiotic fans who do not realise that the position we are in is not the manager! it is mistakes which primarily have happened all season. Al Habsi(Norwhich), Watson (Swansea), Figueroa (Spurs), Caldwell (Spurs), Alcaraz and Gohouri (Bolton), Diame (Newcastle).
How is it the managers fault the defence switches off and how is it fault we have not scored in the last two games but conceded 3. How is it not the managers fault the only goals we have scored from open play this season have been deflected.

I don’t think that is the general consensus. Maybe on here but who, that matters in the club, gives a gnat’s f@rt what the keyboard warriors on here think?
There is disquiet amongst the fans, but people want some change in tactics – and actually if you listen to people’s opinions at the match everyone has a different expert opinion of whatthat change should be anyway. Most fans know the reality of who we are, and don’t think we should be challenging Man City.
I don’t think there is a “Martinez Out” feeling – if there was where are the banners, where are the chants, where are the protests?
Most fans around me grumble and shout anti Martinez stuff ! Down on the concourse at half-time the feeling is much the same when I can be bothered eaves dropping ! The fact that Bob is dear to many Latics fans hearts from the days of the 3 Amigo’s is the reason why there are no banners or protests. Maybe Uncle Dave is cleverer than I have given him credit for !! As I see it, the fans are voting with their feet so far but if this current run continues in the same vein it wont be long before the natives rebel !
As I have suggested before those not happy and generally chessed off get them banners made then we can start winning again one appeared last season and generally turned our season round :woohoo:

Im a moron for being able to spot that all by myself.
It dont matter what the team could have done, or how they should have had 9 points, the fact is they didnt. They cant score. They let in silly goals. Eveyone on the ground can see that appart from the one person who can change it.

Does anyone think the pike will feed on Bosley tomorrow? Was considering a popped up roach on one rod and a float paternostered smelt on another.
