Whether that’s why he killed himself is unclear, but he certainly was traumatised by the loss of his daughter.

He was also worried that he would lose his adoptive daughter because he was suffering from depression!

PAULS PINKY or whatever your name is. It is common knowledge that Robert Enke suffered severe bouts of depression brought on by the unfortunate death of his 2 yr old daughter in 2006. It is in no way disrespectful to assume that this troubled man tragically ended his own life as a direct result of what happened in 2006 ! He had missed the last 4 games due to a virus but I think it is also safe to assume that in reality he was suffering from another severe bout of depression and the “virus” story was put out to protect him. My sincere condolences go out to his widow and family and may he now rest in peace.
