22 March 2017 at 5:13 pm #157179It’s been covered on here before many moons back!
Didn’t understand it then. Don’t now.
I have affiliations to other nations because of family, but I’m English so I support England.
It’s almost as bad as scousers and mancs not wanting England to win because the fans don’t like their players.
22 March 2017 at 5:14 pm #157180I’ve heard it all now an Englishman who supports Germany. I’ve always been a closet Dutch fan both Ajax and the Oranje but when its against England its not gonna happen. And its not like its Brazil, Spain or Argentina its Germany ffs the dreaded foe. Whilst you can admire the success and way they play ots still f…..g Germany. Sorry marrer I don’t get that at all.
Not many do but that’s the way the cookie crumbles! It’s been covered on here before many moons back! ;) Standish once called me ‘Lord Haw Haw’ :) I do however have a lot of Scottish friends and so at least they’ll be behind me tonight! :P[/quote]
I was going to call you that again before you spoiled it!22 March 2017 at 5:51 pm #157181As we speak Escape to Victory is on the Tele, the Krauts wont win that one Fil.
I’ll stick my neck out and go for a 4-4 draw with the pesky Huns cheating big style to try and win the game.

I don’t want to get into a debate, but you’ll find it was the Soviets who drove the Germans out of Poland in 1944/1945.
My in-laws (Poles) were deported by them to Archangel up in the Arctic. :(23 March 2017 at 8:46 pm #157203What a cracking strike from Podolski :) A fitting end to a great international career and he was born in Poland :P
