Been announced we’re playing them in pre-season friendly due to connections between the two clubs.

Typical wigan fans as we’ve got chance of playing one of the biggest teams in Europe and you’d sooner play the likes of Berwick or Burscough.

I suspect if you knew your history, as the song goes, Celtic are aligned with Everton are aligned with Celtic due to the Catholic connection. Liverpools only real link (apart from Kenny) Is the show tune from Carousel.

Indeed Edinburgh does have two teams, but if you are referring to glory hunters, I was born in Wigan. Where you live now doesnt make you a glory hunter.
Born in Wigan lives in Edingburgh supports Celtic, I rest my case another glory hunter same as the job lots round wigan supporting either united or liverpool…
Anyway not bothered as I’m looking forward to such a big occassion watching latics play best team in Scotland ( fact ).
