Maybe I’m still basking in the rays of the win vs Bolton, but having just watched the game back on Sky I’m feeling quite positive about todays result and a bit miffed with the negativity on here tonight.
Didn’t lose
Drew against a team that’s only lost 3 away all season, that has some strong attacking players, a tight defence and that had 2 major ex players on the pitch
Unbeaten in 3 (4 if you count Oman)
5 points from 9
Clean sheet
Gained ground on 3 of 4 relegation rivals and stayed in touch with the other
Next 3 games offer some good opportunities for another 4-5 points
Say what you want about him, but we a much more of an attacking threat with Hugo on the pitch
Momo is back and showed that we have missed him.Yes we were pedestrian (though the pitch and clear unease of playing at home are factors), yes we are awfully goal shy (get over it) and yes McCarthy has been a passenger for too many games now.
But as long as we’re still in touching distance of the 4 teams above us that’s all that matters tonight and after every game till May.26 February 2012 at 5:03 am #81821Just wait for the response, we are in deep shit and won’t or deserve to get out of it. :woohoo:

26 February 2012 at 3:17 pm #81835villa could have played without a goalkeeper that is how bad our forwards are
useless ********26 February 2012 at 4:41 pm #81851How come he can point out how bad McCarthy has been of late but when I mention it I get stuff like ” Do you know anything about football ? ” and ” Did you watch the same game today ? ” I think he has been dire for a while now !
