Although we conceded boat loads, and have statistically the crappest defence in the entire premier league, goal difference is about an aggregate of goals scored v goals conceded.
When will Martinez figure out that Jason Scotland is the worst striker we have ever had at wigan (in our premier league days). The man will not score a single premier league goal. Martinez is clealry deluded to believe that Scotland can score the goals we need. Along with Gomez, and continually playing Gomez at any part of a game, and Zog on the wrong wing, we will continue to get hammered.
I mean how bad is it that Emerson Boyce is a more prolific scorer than our ‘Club Main Striker – No 09 Jason Scotland’.
Its clear, either Martinez goes (as he will not drop Scotland and put Rodellga up front with Zog and Sinclair on from the start), or we go down.

A team that can’t score and let’s goals in so easily……is only heading in one direction……down.
I made the joke about Boyce being more consistent than our centre-forward at the last home game. It’s true.
In fact, the backbone of the side is basically a Championship side. It’s where we’re heading at this rate.Only thing I’d say is, I agree that Rodallega is too light weight for a lone centre forward role (Martinez said this at the Forum) but if he thinks that, why not try playing a straight two up front?
This 4-5-1 formation, adapting to suit if you have possession or not, is good if you have the players to play it. Which we don’t have.
Not too sure we need to get shut of Roberto, but I think he has to change things. Definitely.
im glad you think boyce is better than scotland up front,because if i had my way he would never play again in defence,edman was bad but that is down to hardly playing for 2 years added to a distinct lack of pace,but yesterday boyce showed exactly what he is,a poor defender,bruce who was a top class defender when he played only used him now and again,says it all really.
