That last night has got to be in the top ten? Or was it Naismith’s fault again?
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
12 December 2019 at 7:42 pm #182878I watched the replay on SSN this morning. The camera behind the goal clearly shows Naismith with his arms in the air & shouting to Jones. When a player passes back to his or her keeper in the box, you expect said keeper to be in & around the box to receive the ball. NOT in his goal with his or her back turned having a drink.
I expect that kind of behaviour at a kids under 7’s match. Not in a professional match.
12 December 2019 at 8:20 pm #182880Having watched it back he has 15 seconds from the ball going out of play to the ball being thrown back in. Ample time to grab a drink and he should of course be drinking it whilst facing the play.
Absolutely no defence for it. And yes, some are still blaming Naismith.
12 December 2019 at 9:21 pm #182886Absolutely no defence for it. And yes, some are still blaming Naismith.I’ve not seen many on here blaming Naismith. Different matter on Facebook. The bloke (as many others) put in a cracking shift.
As for Jones, by all means if he wanted a drink have one. But I still cant get out of my head the way he did it. Why he never walked backwards towards his goal so he is still facing play – the mind boggles.
12 December 2019 at 11:55 pm #182897Goalkeepers shouldn’t drink and dive.
I’ll get me coat

I’m referring to Facebook yeah. One guy suggested we were attacking and Naismith needlessly passed it back which is of course utter nonsense.

Don’t MILK it Ed, yes it was a RUM do but I’m sure he has a STOUT character and will recover. It will be a TONIC for him to play well. WATER cock up it was but with the right supPORT he will be ok.

13 December 2019 at 2:20 am #182905The drink must have been a pick-me-up.

There was a bloke in front of me who was applauding Naismith’s every move, obviously making a point. I felt like I should have gone over and given him a hug.

Did he applaude him when he made those two big mistakes in the first half that could have cost us dearly on another day?14 December 2019 at 12:01 am #182919He’s apologised which is fine but to say,
“I’ll learn from the mistake”
Hes 10-15 years too late with that one, Christ !14 December 2019 at 3:54 am #182924He’s apologised which is fine but to say,“I’ll learn from the mistake”
