Following Maloney’s statement concerning it unlikely we’ll be strengthening further I can’t help being concerned as to where the goals will come from. Overall I’m happy with our recruitment under very difficult circumstances and losing a 26 goal striker is near impossible to replace in our situation. Wyke and Magennis are definitely not reliable fitness wise,Aasgard looks to have a deeper role so that leaves Humphreys as the one I think the manager is looking to . Will he blood Stones,Sze ???…..Certainly would take a brave manager with our -8 predicament to gamble. Everyone is after goalscorers and with us unable to pay a fee then we are not top of the pecking order. So we have what we have and I’m looking forward to Saturday……minus 8……could this be another amazing chapter in our history ?…….Already is to me…….2 months ago this didn’t look possible……roll on Saturday!!!

It’s a case of, everyone’s going to have to chip in with a few goals, forwards, widemen, midfielders and the odd set piece header from a defender.
Assguard would be wasted sat deep abit like Shinnie was. He needs to be pushed forward and if he is he could easily hit double figures.

I always liked Cole Stockton but he went Burton before we were taken over. He knows the league and gaurentee you goals.

As for Wyke and Magennis ?, It’s time to start earning their crust especially Wyke. Were no different from any other club, all in search of a 20 a season man. I’m more concerned with the size of the squad, were definitely thin on the ground and with 3 – 4 cups and league to compete in injuries will no doubt be our biggest problem.
