FIrst of all I want to thanks all the support recieved from the fans during those 4 years, individually and as a team.
I arrived being 17 to live with the Farnworth’s. Both them and UK have treated me really well. That’s a very powerful fact in my personality
I’ve discovered a wonderful society which has helped me to be very happy even though I had tough times like everyone has.
The reasons I leave are the same reasons that made me arrive to Wigan. I’m going to a completly unknown country to me, with a lot of new things to discover, a new lenguage, new culture and new football. That’s why I left Spain, my family and friends and it’s been an adventure.
One of the reasons I choose 1. FC Köln is becouse they’ve insisted a lot and put so much effort that it made me opt for that option.
That’s all I have to say. To remember your faces of joy on the parade and your wonderful messages has no price
I’m very glad to be part of the squad that won a FA Cup for the first time for Wigan. Once a latic.. pic.twitter.com/DpxYQfdYKY

16 June 2013 at 9:57 pm #116344Fair play to the ladI am disappointed we have lost him but he will always have a place in my heart for our FA cup winning campaign.
Best of luck to him.
16 June 2013 at 10:02 pm #116346I may be wrong but I suspect Griff was calling out the booming name drop rather than suggesting it was untrue. Pots and kettles come to mind

All this name-dropping gets my goat. Just because people know a famous footballer, they feel the need to drop his name into a thread at the first opportunity. Just stop doing it; it doesn’t impress me.In fact only on Friday, I was saying to Davie Weir (ex-Everton Rangers and Scotland captain, and new Sheffield United manager)that it’s a blight of this board – just before I invited him down to take part in a six aside football tournament in which I hoped the new Wigan manager might be playing (and some shaven headed bloke who’s written a couple of books).
17 June 2013 at 2:56 am #116375Griff can’t play football, he barely knows enough to comment on it on this forum, coyle will be up for it though, the man wears his football kit to bed!
17 June 2013 at 3:08 am #116378Not sure if I mentioned that Pat McGibbon n his lad were sat with me at the final n Neil Warnock was my newest best mate as we chatted socially at the Marriott regents park
17 June 2013 at 3:17 am #116379I was sat with Kev Langley and his son against Bournemouth, and was talking to Noel Ward as we queued to get in Wembley for the Final.

Good job the new manager didn’t turn up to play. That would have ruined any chances of him signing copies of my books.
