I totally disagree with the topic heading in thread. Got what we deserved FFS we arguably had the best of the first 60 mins or so creating chances that other prem teams don’t muster at OT. Talking to a few united fans today and they had nothing but praise for us, you had a good go was their words. Yet we get still get some moaning fuckers on here who try and find negatives in every game. We went to OT we played really well and got undone by some top quality players. Forget the result, we all expected to get turned over. Let’s congratulate Joyce and all the players and fans for the way they conducted themselves on the day. Not one negative on the coach coming home all agreed it was not a 4-0 game.
It was also good to see Boycie and his kids stood shoulder to shoulder with us in the stand. I wonder if he found any negatives.From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Good post. Totally agree. I was on the tram on the way back and a couple of manure fans were saying that they were worried util the 2nd. They thought we could turn it around. Everyone of the guys on the [itch put a full shift in. there were no passengers; you could tell that by how knackered they looked at the end; MoM – all of them – but warnock, Burn, Power, Perks, Morsy ….
Next best thing was the atmosphere we cranked up, without us it would have been”just like being in church”. What dull place.

Jrfat and rich are bob on here. No shame in going down to a better team and our boys couldn’t have put more effort in.
Proud of them for that and the efforts to play solid build up and passing game when hoofball would have been the easy out. 4 nil massively flattered Man U.
Think the original poster is missing the obvious…we haven’t got many better options than to turn out the team we did and try and keep it tight for first 2/3 of game, unfortunately it didn’t work.
