Under no circumstances or under any conditions should they bring back the music when we score.
Off topic I know. But why not? It is clearly a marmite issue, but what is it, why do people hate it so much??
I liked it because I thought it added to the atmosphere and cranked up it up, although I admit it was a bit embarrassing when we were many down, and it was a ‘no use goal’. I thought it added to the overall fun of the afternoon.
Why do others hate it so much?
Do you take a hamper to matches, buy those half and half scarves and enjoy Gillett Soccer Saturday?
Just wondering like……
No, but as I’m a bit of a ??? can’t think of the word ….. I can’t see the relevance. I don’t take music to a picnic and I think the pre match noise should be toned down, but mainly because the PA system is so rubbish and the volume is tooo high.
27 February 2018 at 2:10 pm #166986Promote the person who put on Wonderwall at the end of the Citeh game.
That was a brilliant touch.Should have followed it up with Lou Christie’s Lightning striking again.
27 February 2018 at 2:35 pm #166990They should have played Rolling in the Deep by Adele just for the “we almost had it all” line.
27 February 2018 at 4:14 pm #166999Only one gripe, KRAPPA. Unless you’re a Peter Andre body double the kits make you look ridiculous in it. Brilliant marketing strategy NOT. Bring back proper shirts.
1 March 2018 at 3:43 pm #167071Definitely not music.I’d like to see a regular screen and it offers more advertising opportunities with corners, goal kicks and throws all being sponsored.
There isn’t too much I would change though.
It would also be more visible (for minutes in left in the game, subs and goalscoreres) to a bigger area in the ground than the Boston Stand Scoreboard.
1 March 2018 at 3:47 pm #167072Sensible queuing in Boston Stand, people obviously haven’t the sense to do it themselves so need help so that people who have already been served or just walking to the toilet don’t have to play ‘it’s a knockout’
6 March 2018 at 3:03 pm #167189is it not time we had a big screen? lots of stadiums even in the lower leagues have them.
a question I am often asked.

The take over is still at talking stage, can’t say any more
Regarding the relying situation, things will be looked at and systems will be put in to hopefully rectify. If you have an issue that you feel isn’t being dealt with properly, that is where the SLO comes in. email jason@wiganathleticslo.co.uk, I will get an answer at east, maybe even an action.
The queuing situation will be relayed to the Caterers to see if anything can be done in the close season.
The new season ticket prices will be restructured so there is only 4 tiers, different ticketing solutions for those unable to commit to a season ticket will be looked at.
The music and half time entertainment is constantly being reviewed.
Wifi is too expensive at the moment plus it would be ring fenced (where certain websites and the 4G network are blocked ), but is being monitored for the future.
Can’t give too much info, but an announcement will be made pretty soon regarding the kits.
Scoreboards and TV screens are wanted items, but they need to be funded, so as soon a deal can be struck we will get them.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
13 March 2018 at 9:12 am #167351Cheers jase great job done as usual.
