….go on I’ll start the ball rolling, it’s bin 20 hours or so since we won.
That was one hell of a professional performance yesterday. Came out of the traps all guns blazing and effectively won the game within the first 20 mins. Should have gone in 3-4 up, but basically closed down the game and let oldham huff and puff without any real threat for the remainder of the game. I like the way Cooky is managing Powell,starting him, let him do some damage, then wrap him up in cotton wool on the hour mark.
This team is shaping up well, Cooky will have his first real decision to make when we play Pompey, does he keep James in at LB, he’s done absoplutely nowt wrong in the 3 games he has played, or does he bring back Elder, who looked superb in the 40 or so minutes he played at MK Dons. I’m sure Elder will be in for the Villa game, I suppose any decision will be made after that game.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!For me the main decision is whether to start with Colclough against Portsmouth. I didn’t go to MK so I’ve only seen Massey twice and he hasn’t really looked up to it. Other than that the same team.
