Why are the charges against City news????….The whole upper stratosphere of football is money corrupt.Fifa,Efl,Premier league, PFA,PSg,Real Madrid, Barcelona etc,etc all thieving, bent institutional turd pits. Middlesbrough deducted 3pts in 1997 for failing to complete a fixture and were ultimately relegated. 10 years later after the disciplinary commission ruled that while West Ham deserved to be deducted points over the Tevez affair it was deemed to be UNFAIR on their fans so we’re fined Instead!! I haven’t watched a Prem games for ages,just not interested,and won’t ever subscribe to Sky/BT sports until they filter more money to the lower divisions. Read last year that if 6% of the Sky prem deal was fed to divisions 1 and 2 it would equate to 7 million per club. Yes ,some strategies would need to be implemented to ensure the clubs manage the funding but goes to show how much money the premiership clubs are wallowing in. The other big prem clubs will be praying City get hammered…..not because they want to see justice served but to improve they’re chances of Silverware. They all have a multitude of skeletons in their off shore closets……just hoping no one finds them…..As one paper summed it up today…….The Premier Leagues moto should be “Greed is Good “…..
They’ll get something like a £100million fine and things will be the same. No way on God’s earth will they relegate City!. The TV abroad,the revenue the players City bring to the table would be a disaster the the Premier League and would open up the door again for a new Super League.
City have ripped open the big 3-4 monopoly and to remove it would leave a free for all to pick up the scraps.I’d be shocked if City who have some of the best lawyers in the world don’t challenge any decision in the high court’s right to the very death so this won’t be a overnight kangaroo court case.
