What are the odds that Wigan council get surprised by the ice and snow this year and fail to grit the roads again???I have already seen the gritters out an a couple of occasions already. Was very surprised :)
I live on a busy road in one of Wigans `posher areas`(not braggin like)
Anyroad,last year between 21 Dec and 8 Jan the road was sheet ice.I read in t`Observer and t`Reporter that my road had been gritted on the 21st,23rd,28th,30th,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th….I emailed t`council and called them lying b@st@rds,as the road hadnt been gritted at all between these dates.They didnt reply!…………I love `new Labour`!!

Gritters were out last night I can confirm
Personally I hope the fcuk it up again.
It was great last year, couldn’t get to work, so had a couple of days sledging in Astley Park.Definately been out tonight.. Was driving behind it after i pulled out of John Rigby college in Orrell after training.

Or perhaps they weren’t sent an e-mail calling them lying b@st@rds from anyone in your street!i have a friend who chases after gritters
