There was so much that was so good about the game against Swansea and only a little bit that wasn’t very good.
Despite the manky weather forecast it didn’t rain and the sun shone. Even though one of the worst 2 games I’ve watched at the DW was against Swansea (2013) this was one of the best this season. We scored a goal. Because we scored it means I don’t have to go silent again!! But Keiffer, we want MOORE! Hint hint. Thank you Keiffer.
What wasn’t very good – we lost like a dying swan in the last minute, we missed too many almost goals, BUT ABOVE ALL I HAD TO KEEP QUIET FOR 2 HOURS. If I could have issued a yellow card a few people would have got one for trying to provoke me into comment. BUT I RESISTED.
WHAT WAS AMAZING? THE INCREDIBLE GENEROSITY OF MY WIGAN FOOTBALL FRIENDS. THANK YOU SO MUCH. SINCERELY AND WITH HAND ON MY HEART THANK YOU. Is your generosity a hint for me to be quiet in the future?!
Through your generosity and my stupidity CALM the charity that is dedicated to help prevent male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK is £380 better off. Truly I am quite overwhelmed. THANK YOU from me and thank you from all those YOU have helped.

As you know, there is a prize at the end of the season for the winner of this competition donated by the powers that be at Cockneylatic towers. I will put a post on here soon, to see whether Cockneytlatic and the posters on this thread would like a donation made to your charity at the end of the season instead of giving a prize to the winner.
I am sure everyone will be in favour, and maybe Jayt can organise a photo on the pitch with yourself and someone from the charity.
If you still have the justgiving page open, maybe you can leave it open, and I’ll keep adding the link, and we can try to raise more as the season goes on, and hopefully you will be able to hand over an even bigger sum at the end of the season.
