33 people made guesses based on a Saturday home fixture. In addition, you had declared entries closed at 11pm on the Friday night so all entries were locked in.
By restricting amendments whilst allowing additional entries, it could be perceived as giving an unfair advantage.
Probably too late for this round, but can this be taken into consideration for the other rearranged games when the GTG entries had been submitted?
I made the decision, (see statement below from 30/12/2021, post no- 194981) and after due consideration will be sticking to it. I am sorry if you feel aggrieved.
In view of the postponent of the Accrington Stanley game on New Years Day, the predictions will be saved along with the Fleetwood and Oxford Utd games, and will be used when the games are re-arranged.
The ‘Guess the Gate’ competition is now closed for Matchday 13 versus Oxford United. There has been 33 predictions.
It was also quite clearly repened by the competition organiser (Me) as the original match didn’t take place.
Please see post 195252.
We will have to agree to differ on this and the two other postponed matches as the original predictions for those are also going to be used.

“The number 10101 also signifies that the ‘Tics are ready to move on and nothing should stand will way. As long as Max keeps going in the right direction, the ‘mighty ‘Tic angels will be there to assist and encourage. Keep in mind all that WAFC have achieved and how fortunate we are to be alive. You are a one-of-a-kind individual team” Talal.
