I’m putting my poor showing down to the fact I’m useless at it. Would probably be transferred but being owd and crocked with no sell on value whatsoever I,m staying put and will be competing next season.
Well at my age (and weight) the knocks come thick and fast but it’s all part of the game…..ere …even had an op back in Sept, first one since I had my tonsils out in Billinge circa 1962 !
But I’ve ploughed on !61 in a month ☹️
Although gerrin’ owd is better than the alternative !
Thanks for all the kind words from everyone.
I can’t wait for the fixtures to come out so we start again.At times this season, this was more enjoyable and exciting than the actual football, but in true Latics style we came good in the end and sorted out what could have been a disastrous season.
Well done to all, and well done to Wigan Athletic for giving us another enjoyable season watching the best club in the world.

Owd Jasper Melling wasn’t far wrong I’m shamefaced to admit (not just pricking about…but to a noticeably LOW standard)
