Pathe News say they will come down and film it and release a grainy film of events but only on a reel to reel film.
There may be a chance for a Beta max copy in future years.
Anyone with a cinecamera can come along and do a copy for themselves, but you will be charged half a crown for the privelege.
Bowls of gruel and stale bread will be offered as refreshments and a return ticket on the charbanc can be booked for sixpence leaving the Old Gas Showrooms on the hour every hour from 5.30am for fans to come and watch,(a shirt and tie with a flat cap is mandatory).

Are you not telling us your age whilst you are here Goole Away, or will we know that it wasn’t possible for you to have been there in ’71.
I reckon with your Monty Pythonesque comment of ‘Bowls of gruel you say, luxury’! You are old enough to have been there and will raise our overall average age.

Garswood is still miles older than any one else at 67, nearly 16 years above average. At least the buses are free and your season ticket is cheap.

Season ticket is a bonus, as are away tickets.
Never use the buses though. Full of pensioners.
But also can travel free by train to Liverpool.
Never go – full of scousers ;)

However, I do have the freedom to go to Tesco at lunchtime, leave my trolley in the middle of the aisles while I wander off, slowly unload my shopping at the till, hunt for my credit card, forget my PIN twice, and stop to have a chat with other people (whether I know them or not) blocking the shop doorway.

Got to keep the mind active ;)

                I’ve turned 50 recently

I’m sure I was still young at the start of the season, now I’m looking at stairlifts!

I didn’t realise you were older than martinh, I thought you were the same age.

Ha ha, I was always older, Martin the more intelligent. As for the other one who supported Preston? I have nightmares that he’ll turn up as Donald Trump’s adviser!

Just coz the miles are on the clock it doesn’t mean we have to turn into the slippers and cardie brigade. When I’m in the dj booth I become a born again young-un. Nothing better than the 90s dance stuff to fill a floor. Whack a bit of Ultrabeat, Ian Van Dahl, Alice Deejay on and watch em go. 80s is always popular and of course Northern Soul. As a trucker I’m 61 feeling like I’m 75. As a dj I’m still in my twenties lol. As the late great Barry White sang, “Let the music play”.

Fixture release day is fast approaching so the first ‘Guess the Gate’ prediction of the 2019/20 season will soon be posted.
I don’t think many changes will be made other than the points system and a few more ‘bonus’ weeks.
Watch this space for updates, any changes will be revealed before the first prediction league of the season is posted.

That’s the feedback I’ve been getting from most people.
I would like a few more playing if possible, but there’s not a lot I can do about that bar offering £££’s in prize money, but that ain’t going to happen.
I went cap in hand last season to CL to get a prize, and hopefully this season I will be lucky enough for Jayt/The Egg to support us again (thanks lads).

Although associated with Monty Python, it was originally performed on ‘At last the 1948 show’. I’m older than I think!
