As UEFA have a booze ban at grounds for Europa matches, does anyone know were the line will be drawn for selling ale , was informed at the match on Sunday that none of the concourse bars around the ground will be selling ale and most will be shut but does this also effect the corporate and south stand supporters bars.
From what I have hear its no booze in any of the stands and concourses I don’t no about the surrounding areas
absolute joke this. who the hell do they think they are telling grown men they can’t have a pint when they sell it at every ground in british football on a matchday. and yes i can manage not to have a pint at half time but its the principle.
If some people cant manage 90 mins without a beer I would say they have a problem with alcoholThe problem seems to with “no alcohol”. ;)
Was in the prawn butty section at Ewood Park a few years ago. We sat at the glass window with a drawn curtain behind us. Our pints were on a table immediately behind the curtain so we had to turn round, put our head through the curtain, take a swig and turn back to face the window.
Now if that’s not rules gone mad I don’t know what is. :silly:
