I believe its a fella called Dennis Lawrence who used to play for WrexhamYep, don’t think that’s a big secret. Clubs these days also bring people in on a consultancy basis too, but I don’t know if we do, or ever have done, that.

not exactly top notch, another one of the backroom staff with no top level experience, now i know some of the best managers/coaches havnt play the game at the highest level, but im sure the players would respond more to someone whos been there and done it,
I would love to think it was more a case of RM being a bit inexperienced rather than simply not good enough. One thing we cannot argue with is his stubborness which someone with a lot more nous may make him see his mistakes. I doubt Barrow and Jones have the neccessary clout within the management structure to make Bobby change.Both Bruce and PJ had previous top flight experience and we all saw what happened to Hutchings.Im desperate for Bobby to succeed but i just dont see it happening with the trio we have at present.

Anyway back to the point – I remember going to the very first fans forum and our leader was asked about a defensive coach
I wrote his answer down as I was taken aback by his reply
“we dont need one as we work as a unit”

This mon Roberto’s to “pigheaded” to take advice off anyone and that includes Barrow,Jones and even DW.

Seems ironic that the only memory I have of DL, is him scoring against us when we lost a league game at the Racecourse ground many moons ago. He looked like the biggest la-zoom ever to have donned a football kit. :(From Matlock to ManU
