Played a full 90 minutes last night in Honduras’ win over Costa Rica in the quarters of the Gold Cup, looked like he bossed the midfield.
Wilson Palacios came on for him at 90 minutes as the game went into extra time. Palacios also scored in the penalty shootout.

Bossed the midfield against an average costa rica midfield… I believe Palacios isnt 100% fit and has hardly played for spurs this season aswell.
Wouldnt say he was garbage he is good at what he does. Tackle and then play the simple pass (usually sideways) however you need a really creative player alongside him
Thomas is garbage,…..as soon as Bobby bombed him results picked up………….no coincedence there.
agree 100 percent cant wait to see the back of him how he’s only 26 is astonishing he looks and plays like hes about 70.
dont get why gomez gets so much slack and this guy goes under the radar hes terribleFirst half of last season he was arguably our best player, IMO.
Went off the boil a bit then, and I see Bobby was blaming that on the after effects of the World Cup. Not sure I buy that excuse, but he’s still a useful squad player. You’d be disappointed though if we didn’t have a good enough midfield to keep him out of it.
IMO id rather have diame mccarthy and watson in the centre with mccarthur and gomez as back up before thomas. But i still would rather get rid and get better back up

Nothing against Gomez, however, there are those who consider his style and commitment not quite up to standard yet.
